Blowing Money Left and Right
Yesterday my daughter’s boyfriend pulled up to pick her up. He wanted us all to come out and see the new custom wheels he bought for his car. I didn’t say anything while he was standing there, but after they left, I asked my husband how much he thought they cost. He said they easily cost over a grand. These two want to get married next year, but if they don’t start saving up money, they’ll never be able to make it. They both seem to blow their paychecks as soon as they get them. I don’t begrudge him his wheels, but I do worry that they aren’t responsible enough to be married.
