A group of friends and I were going to the game store to check out the new releases. We saw stuff like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Assassin’s Creed II, and even Diablo III, but none of these games were quite what we were looking for. These are the kind of games that you play and beat in like a week, not those that give you continued fun for a long period of time. We thought it was a wasted trip until we saw Aion: The Tower of Eternity game on the shelves. An online game? That sounds pretty good. We brought it to my house in Totowa NJ.

When it came time for me to relocate for a new job, I thought that I would just purchase another house in a new location; however, this did not turn out to be the case. With the help of a local real estate agent, I not only toured many houses, but also a few condos. I took a liking to the condos because of their community feel and low maintenance. Mowing lawns was never a job I liked, but in my new condo, there is a company that does yard work for the complex. The nominal monthly fees are worth every penny.

My husband and I were driving around the Ascot area last week, and I fell in love with a great property on Cheapside Road.  It is a fantastic house near American schools.  As soon as we got home I checked online to see if it was one of the houses for rent in Ascot.  It was available and offered six bedrooms, four reception rooms, and four bathrooms.  This was all on three levels.  Because my husband does not care for the area that we currently live in, I was sure that he would be willing to go look at the house to see if we could rent it.

When you and your flatmates need to move out of your share house, the best advice is to leave it clean and tidy no matter how it was when you moved in. Firstly it will give everyone a sense of pride and secondly the property manager/landlord will brag about you when you apply for another property. Go for a walk around your share accommodation and take a good look at each room from floor to ceiling. Hmmm is that a thick layer of dust and fluff along with the spider webs on top of the curtain track or is it a house mates lost cat? Take a look at the window and door tracks, are the widows and doors sliding freely or do they need a gym junkie with a crow bar to open and close them because of all the crap clogging up the tracks? What about the range hood above the stove, have you removed the filters and cleaned off all that built up grease from your housemates famous deep fried chicken schnitzels? Oh no, how did those bugs congregate in that light fitting? I know, I know, cleaning is such a tedious and unexciting chore but it is one definitely worth donning the rubber gloves!

Last week my husband and I made an appointment to meet with a realtor. We had found some houses on the Internet that we were interested in looking at. We are also thinking about getting one of the Arizona VA loans if we decide to buy a house. When my husband called the realtor she said she could take us to look at all three of the houses we wanted to see on Friday. I was very excited that we were going to be able to see all of the houses in one day. I thought this would make it easier to compare the houses.
