The colors, textures and design of the cards were brilliant. The thank you cards went out last weekend, and I was overjoyed that people called today to tell me they loved them. I am so blessed to have such a huge family and a lot of friends. They wished me well and sent gifts at my high school graduation. I just wanted them to know that I really appreciate all they have done for me. College is going to be great, and I am looking forward the new path I will be on. I am sure that great things will happen there too.

The religion of Islam has been the most misunderstood religion in the world because of misrepresentation by the adversaries of Islam and by the followers themselves. The muslim world is more under suspicion after the attack on America on 11 September, 2002 and recently on India on 26th December, 2009. I myself have been told by few that I have made them uncomfortable because of my Islam affiliation. This pressure internally and externally has forced the Muslim world to reexamine the way we have practiced our faith and religion. During these recent dialogues with our people, I found misconceptions are prevalent regarding Islam and Muslims.

I am always getting ideas for new products, but I never know whether or not it is worth trying to develop them further or whether someone else has already had the idea and patented it. Can anyone tell me where I can go for patent information so I can figure out whether or not my ideas are unique? It would be cool to get a patent for an invention of my own, though I know that it probably will take a lot of work for me to come up with something that is worth going through the trouble to patent.

I had been hunting around for someone to take me around to some really good fishing spots in the central north island but I was having a bit of a hard time finding one. My son signed up for all of his courses at the community college today. I was surprised to see that they offered a Spanish course online. He didn’t sign up for it this semester, but said that he might next year. As a part of his core curriculum, he’s required to take two semesters of a foreign language. Living here in south Florida, Spanish was the obvious answer. I’m glad he’s not taking a foreign language his first semester though, I’d like him to start out with easy classes before making the transition to harder classes. This way he’ll get a feel for being in college.
