Community Fights Crime with Fake Security Cameras
The community where I live was given state grant money to help reduce crime in our neighborhoods. The problem has been growing steadily for the past three years and we needed financial assistance to get the issue under control. One of the first things that the community did was provide Fake Security Cameras to residents who live in the most troublesome neighborhoods. There was no public announcement about the program. The neighborhood watch program was the middle man who received the units and dispersed them to the individual homeowners. This way the people who were committing the crimes would think that the cameras are real.
