Merchandise that is sold directly to a direct marketing company whether it is for business or consumers purposes by means of the internet is known as Ecommerce. The product or service owner usually provides the marketing collaterals such as tracking facility, affiliate links and sales letters. When a service or product created by someone else is sold by another industry seller for a share in profit, this is called affiliate marketing.
