Where Should I Go to Buy Motorcycle Parts?

Any type of vehicle is likely to break down or need replacement parts at some time or another, whether it is a car or a motorcycle. I am thinking of getting a motorcycle that I can use around time to save on gas. Can anyone tell me the best place to go for buying motorcycle parts? Should I go to the place where I bought the motorcycle, a website, or some other place in order to get the best deal on parts? I want to make sure that I get high quality parts that are meant for my particular bike and not after market parts.
