Hepatoduodenal ligament

One can reduce the blood flow in to the liver by temporarily caused cross clamping the hepatoduodenal ligament; this pr9ocedure can be carried out for 20 minutes using a bull dog intermittently. Glisson’s capsule is then incised anteroinferiorly and the incision is carried down to the region of the porta hepatis.
