Summer is almost upon us and as usual at this time of the year people’s minds turn towards the idea of barbecuing food in the garden on hot sunny days. There is nothing better than the smell of food sizzling nicely, marinading in its juices and a nice cold beer in your hand. Breaking out the folding tray table and getting your friends around makes the day complete and as long as you know how to cook it can be a very satisfying experience. My big tip however is to invest in a good book on BBQ. Too many people think they can just cook great food without really knowing what they are doing – big mistake. Follow the instructions and make the food even better.
