When our family decided we wanted to spend some of our summer vacation in the highlands of Scotland, we went online to see what was available in the Pitlochry area. We finally checked out a site for “camping pitlochry.” Since we already had our own caravan, it was simply a matter of booking our reservation. We found out that one had better call early, as these sites fill up really fast. We found our trip to this lovely spot, surrounded by magnificent mountains, to be as restful and relaxing as we had hoped. While there were enough activities for the younger ones, my wife and I sat back and breathed in the beauty all around us.
